Scout Schultz
Though this may be considered "old news", I still would like to discuss this issue because I was just informed about it. I am originally from Georgia but am currently residing in California with my husband. My sister is Georgia Tech student and informed me on the death of Scout Schultz. The instance began when a call was made about a suspicious male wielding a knife-- but then was later shot and killed by officers. According to Washington Post and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, the student left three suicide notes and had a history of mental illness. To my understanding, Scout appears to have called himself in. He appears to have the intent to hurt himself-- he had described himself to the police and was demanding them to shoot him by screaming "shoot me!". Investigators were not sure if the knife was displayed but there were no firearms.
